Pioneers in the field of manufacture and export of sporting goods, the forte of Soccer International Pvt. Ltd. lies in manufacturing superior quality Soccer Balls. The company is also reputed as the first in India to introduce a range of shinguards to match international standards.

A Sustaining Member and also an active partner of World Federation of Sporting Goods Industry since 1998, the company is also the founder member of the Sports Goods Foundation of India, the association to prevent Child Labour in Sports Industry in India.

Established in 1976, the company has become one of the most sought-after companies for Hand Sewn & Machine Sewn Professional Inflatable Balls, Soccer Shinpads, Sports Bags and Soccer Accessories. Currently Soccer International Pvt. Ltd. has an annual turnover of US$ 12.5 Million with an annual production of 3 Million Inflatable Balls.

We, at Soccer International Pvt. Ltd. have a highly skilled team of dedicated professionals, numbering about 500. The company has 5 production units in India covering an area of 3,00,000 square feet.

Quality Control

Quality is the hallmark of our products. Hence, we have a team of trained personnel that undertake quality control measures right from the time the raw materials are procured, to online inspection, till the goods are finally packaged.

Various steps such as Purchase Control, Vendor Quality Survey, Sampling Inspection, Patrol Inspection, Storage & Shipping Control and AQL Inspection ensure that each good is made in conformity with international standards to make sure that only the best quality reaches the final consumer.

The company has an in-house modern testing laboratory equipped with latest equipments viz. Tensile Tester, Bounce Testing Machine, De-Mattia Flex Tester, Shooting Machine etc. The laboratory is manned by highly qualified technicians.

To strictly meet the International Standards and Customer Satisfaction the company has got ISO – 9001 Certification from the prestigious Dutch Council of Accreditation DNV, Netherlands.

Work Environment & Child Labour Program

WORK ENVIRONMENT
SIPL having internal Health & Safety Committee, which is responsible for pleasant work environment inside the factory. It’s motto is ‘Pleasant Work Environment is base of Good Quality’.

The major work areas are -
Fire Prevention
a) Committee ensures that the factory is having the necessary fire precautions.
b) Ensures that factory housekeeping priorities reducing the risk of fire from – open flames, electrical wiring, flammable materials etc.
c) Ensures that the factory has suitable fire extinguishers which are regularly checked.
d) Ensures that factory has suitable fire exits.
e) Ensures that smoking is not allowed on the factory floor.
f) Ensures that there is a recognised fire alarm and that all workers know how to raise the alarm.
g) Ensures that there is a fire evacuation drill which is well known to all the workers and is regularly practiced, timed and recorded.
h) Ensures that name and trained workers are on duty as fire officers during working hours.

Control of Hazardous Substances
a) Committee lists out what materials are used in the factory.
b) Know the hazards associated with different materials.
c) Ensures that materials are clearly labelled in the local language.
d) Ensures that materials are stored safely.
e) Ensures that workers are trained to handle hazardous material safely and appropriately.
f) Ensures that hazardous wastes are disposed off appropriately.

Machinery and Personal Protective Equipments (PPE)
a) Committee keeps an up to date list of machinery and knows the hazards and risks associated with each machine.
b) Ensures that machines are regularly maintained with special attention to risk areas.
c) Ensures that workers are trained to operate machines with the minimum of risk.
d) Ensures that safety features are always used and adequate ventilation is provided in the factory.
e) Ensures that appropriate PPE is always used.

Worker Health
a) Committee understands health risks associated with production.
b) Have a system to manage health issues.
c) Communicate health system and risk to workers.
d) Monitors health of workers.
e) Having First Aid boxes atleast one per floor.
f) Keeping record of accidents.
g) Provides toilets as per the factory laws.
h) Also maintains other health issues as per the Factory Act.

CHILD LABOUR PROGRAMME
a) Committee maintains the law concerning Child Labourers and young workers.
b) Maintains documentation of the ages of young workers (including stitchers)

Company is part of programme run by SGFI in association with FIFA, UNICEF and other voluntary organisations for detection and prevention of Child Labourers in Football Industry in Jalandhar, INDIA.

A regular update is sent by SGFI to all the major buyers, Charitable organisations, Voluntary organisations on a regular basis.
